One would think that most of the kinks would be worked out of the polling systems by now, especially after the huge polling dilemma of 2000. The infamous Florida recount should serve as a prime example of why miscalculating votes is deadly. But, one county in West Virginia (where they have opened voting polls early) is raising eyebrows. Some voters in Putnam County have complained of selecting one presidential candidate, while another candidate name appears as their chosen selection. This cannot be good, especially as most polls show a very close race between Sen. McCain and Sen. Obama. After such an intense election, I must know who will be the next President some time after the clock strikes twelve on November 5th. I cannot wait for the polls check and double-check their accuracy. So get it right the first time!
